Born in January 2001, male, from Shijiazhuang, Hebei, now based in Chongqing
During my first attempt at the postgraduate entrance examination in late 2022, China had just fully lifted COVID restrictions. I contracted COVID shortly before the exam and did not succeed in being admitted to Sun Yat-sen University.
After that, I spent nearly a year traveling across different parts of China while reflecting on my own direction and pace. In October 2023, I decided to prepare again with a clear goal of applying for the Software Engineering program at Southwest University, and I was eventually admitted back to my alma mater with the highest overall ranking in the program (written exam: 373, interview: 89).
